These quality grab bars are available in a variety of finishes, including white Acrylic ABS plastic as well as plated ABS plastic (chrome or brushed nickel) – to complement the majority of bathtub trim/faucet finishes. Application:
These Grab Bars are intended for use with acrylic tubs, fiberglass tubs, or possibly cultured marble tubs. Solure grab bars are approximately 8 inches long, and designed for insert anchor installation for easy installation in any installed acrylic, fiberglass or cultured marble tub WHERE YOU HAVE ACCESS TO INSTALL IT FROM BEHIND THE TUB WALL. Instructions are provided below for each.
Tub Installation - introduction
These Grab Bars are intended for use with bath tubs and other structures where access is provided behind the mounting surface to tighten the mounting hardware. These Grab Bars require access behind the surface that they are installed onto, so that the mounting bolt can be tightened to secure the grab bar. Each Grab Bar includes two washers and two bolts and a mounting template (6-1/2" on center hole spacing with a 11/32" predrilled holes). Grab Bars should be installed on the tub PRIOR to tub installation, when access is available behind the tub mounting surface.
