 The Gruber Variable Speed Gelcoat Tunnel Conveyor Tunnel (VSGT) provides precise and automatic movement of molds through the gelcoat curing process. By automatically moving the molds through the tunnel, labor associated with mold moving can be reduced and precise gelcoat cure times can be obtained.
Description:
The VSGT includes a speed controller providing a stable range of mold speeds from approximately .5 ft. min. to 8 ft. min., to allow for proper curing in many different applications. The VSGT system utilizes a special roller chain so that existing mold tracks need not be modified. The VSGT can be used in new installations or be added to an already existing gelcoat tunnel, replacing the skate wheel conveyors in the tunnel. Two conveyor systems are available: a double wide single drive conveyor, which drives both lines of conveyor simultaneously; and a single wide single drive conveyor, for small tunnel applications.
Equipment Requirements:
All models are equipped with a power chord only and would require a plug to match service outlet for testing purposes only. Mixers should be hardwired to an appropriate circuit by a qualified electrician to meet your local electrical codes. Additional controls may be necessary to meet your local regulations. Any additional requirements needed to deem this equipment operational will be obtained by buyer at buyers expense.
