The Gel Coat Spraybooth is designed specifically for the application of gelcoat to molds. Utilizing an advanced filtration system and blower, the Gel Coat Spray Booth virtually eliminates gelcoat vapors from the shop, creating a healthier and more environmentally friendly work place.
The Gel Coat Spray Booth provides a safe working environment for your employees. Each booth comes complete with a powerful exhaust system and all the necessary duct work to confine gel coat overspray to the inside of the booth, while exhausting vapors from the plant. A solenoid valve is provided, which meets national standards for such equipment, preventing the operator from spraying gel coat without the exhaust fan being activated.
The Gel Coat Spray Booths features optional pnuematically operated pass-through doors on either or both sides of the oven for convenient access to the curing line (for owners of Gel Coat Curing Ovens), and a solenoid value that prevents the operator from spraying gel coat without the exhaust fan being activated. The units are constructed of heavy-duty 18 gauge sheet metal construction, 3 phase 50/60 hz blower with ventilation ducting to the outside (of building), RP filtration system, spray system interlocks for safety, manometer for gauging air flow, three incandescent light assemblies, and optional pneumatic door assemblies. Booths are available in three different widths, and either with no doors, or one or two doors. Optional pneumatically operated pass-through doors on either or both sides of the booth are available for convenient access to the curing line. At Right: Spray booth shown with two side door option.
