Gruber Systems, Inc. Names New Senior Vice President of Sales and Engineering

Valencia, California, U.S.A., August 21, 2007 -  Gruber Systems, Inc., a leading provider of molds, automation equipment, and supplies for the cast polymer and other composite related industries, is announcing the promotion of Jim Thiessen to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Engineering. In this capacity, he will be in charge of Gruber’s Domestic Sales as well as responsible for the company’s engineering efforts in all facilities: Valencia, CA; Mansfield, TX; Rockledge, FL; and Kunshan, China.

Thiessen has been associated with Gruber Systems since 1998 and has held the positions of Fiberglass Product Manager, Western Division Manager, Director of Engineering, and most recently Vice President of Engineering. His industry knowledge is further enhanced by his previous ownership of a Canadian company that specialized in cast polymer tooling. “Jim is a proven leader within our company as well as the industry, and brings energy and strength to any task with which he is presented,” states John Hoskinson, President and CEO of Gruber Systems. “He will continue to help our customers meet the challenges of a changing business environment.”
